Floki DAO Builds Schools in Ghana, Laos & Guatemala

• Floki, a meme coin project, partnered with Pencils of Promise to build a school in Ghana.
• The school includes six blocks of classrooms, with one block dedicated to a computer lab.
• Other countries that will be receiving Floki schools are Laos and Guatemala.

Floki, a meme coin project based on the BNB Chain, is proud to announce its partnership with Pencils of Promise, a non-profit humanitarian organization, to build a school in Ghana. This is the second school building initiative of the crypto protocol, following the first school in Nigeria, which was commissioned in collaboration with the Tabitha Cumi Foundation, an NGO backed by the United Nations and the Embassy of Japan.

The school in Ghana is built with six blocks of classrooms, with one of those blocks dedicated to a computer lab. Floki DAO approved proposals for burning at least 4.97 trillion FLOKI tokens on January 28 to fund the project. The protocol hopes to use this initiative to spread awareness about crypto and metaverse education, with the aim of increasing their adoption.

Floki is a people’s crypto project, and its commitment to fostering education and impacting lives is evident through its charity work. Apart from Ghana and Nigeria, the team is also building schools in Laos and Guatemala.

The Floki team is optimistic that its school initiatives will bring about positive change in the lives of many, and the team is committed to its vision of creating a better world for all. They are also looking forward to working with more non-profit organizations and other stakeholders to help make their dream a reality.
